LIIKENNENYT®
LiikenneNyt is a cost effective service solution to traffic measurements, data mining, information refining, personalisation and intelligent delivery – based on individual user needs. Data received from several sources is refined to comprehensive information to be used by individual and authority users - via various channels.
Service concept is supported by new business model, which enables its economically smart use in different sites and branches. A multimodal set of services are available via internet and mobile network. Regular, daily customers – being the main target group of the service in Tampere – can benefit from personalised service set as mobile services.
SET OF BEST PRACTISES – AS A BACKBONE
Service solution is developed to utilize existing, individual ”subservices”. Taking the advantage of those existing ones and, by adding some innovative development, the objective of comprehensive service concept has been reached. Those subservices includes e.g. integtated traffic measurements from several sources (traffic signal system, measuring units and floating cars), public transport journey planner, intelligent personalisation methods, etc.
PRODUCER OF SERVICE
The service solution is developed and is provided to users by Infotripla Ltd. LiikenneNyt -service (in Tampere implementation) has co-operation with City of Tampere, Finnish Road Administration (Häme Destrict) and local radio called Radio 957.
